Base salary range: $62,107 - $80,737

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves leading a team of technicians in maintaining, repairing, and certifying anti-submarine warfare targets and unmanned underwater vehicles for the Navy, while overseeing budgets, schedules, and performance.
It requires hands-on expertise in electronics and troubleshooting to guide projects and solve technical issues.
A good fit would be someone with several years of technical experience in defense or engineering, strong leadership skills, and a detail-oriented approach to quality assurance.
You will serve as a Lead Engineering Technician in the Unmanned & Theater Undersea Warfare Department of NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV KEYPORT WA.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate detailed knowledge of Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) Targets for maintenance processes, troubleshooting, component assembly and repair, operations, and certification.
Must have detailed knowledge of ASW Operation Site procedures, qualifications, and processes; Quality Assurance (CA) process for Operational Site certification; current ASW Target Senior Technician qualifications; and possess current Quality Assurance (QA) TC605 certification.
