Base salary range: $62,107 - $80,737
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-10. Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 years graduate study.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves leading a team to manage and improve facilities at a naval air center, including evaluating spaces, equipment, and projects to ensure everything runs safely and efficiently.
You'll handle planning for building changes, interpret technical drawings, and coordinate maintenance while following federal rules.
It's a great fit for someone with hands-on experience in facilities oversight and a knack for analyzing data to solve real-world problems in a government or military setting.
You will serve as a LEAD ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN in the INDUSTRIAL OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1.
Ability to lead and direct personnel and apply qualitative and quantitative analytical techniques to evaluate facilities, space utilization, equipment, and project outcomes. 2.
Knowledge of facilities management operations supporting multifunctional, command-level organizations and missions. 3.
Knowledge of facilities master planning, including assessment of expansion, reduction, and long-term utilization impacts. 4.
Skill in interpreting engineering and technical drawings related to building systems and plant equipment. 5.
Knowledge of facilities and plant equipment management principles, including utility systems and installation layouts. 6.
Understanding of applicable Federal regulations and policies governing real and personal property management and disposal. 7.
Knowledge of Federal facilities and equipment maintenance policies, procedures, and resource coordination practices. 8.
Ability to collect, analyze, and present data; knowledge of automated facilities management information systems.
