Job Description

Summary

This job is for a temporary laborer at a golf course in South Korea, where you'll use heavy equipment to handle tasks like digging, ground maintenance, and building repairs.

Full Job Description

This position is located at the Camp Casey Golf Course in Tongduchon, South Korea. This is a temporary position. Employment in this position will not exceed 1 year.

A qualified candidate must possess the following: Six (6) months of laboring experience required.

Must be able to work under general supervision, responding to initial oral or written instructions and completing assigned tasks. Major Duties:

  • Operate heavy powered equipment performing tasks that require prior work experience and training.
  • Powered equipment tasks include ground maintenance on grades and slopes, digging ditches and trenches, washing buildings using high pressure sprayers, operating tillers to prepare lawns for sod and bedding plants, and cutting trees.
  • Performs general maintenance of NAF facilities requiring use of heavy powered equipment and heavy tools.
  • Breaks up concrete, mixes and pours concrete and asphalt. Resets nails, replaces hardware, relocate playgrounds, flowerbeds and portable structures.
  • Advises facility director of potential safety hazards and identifies repairs required.
