Salary: $57,252.00 - $76,968.00 monthly. The salary does not include an additional 5% premium pay for employees working in an on-site 24/7 facility 5% premium.
Schedule: Swing Shift 1p - 11p, Thurs - Sunday.The Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF) is seeking a dedicated and experienced Security Supervisor to help lead our campus safety operations at Harbor Heights juvenile facility.
This role plays a vital part in maintaining a secure and structured environment for youth, staff, and visitors by overseeing daily security functions, guiding staff, and supporting a culture of safety and accountability.
Some of what you will do:
Required Qualifications:
Two years of relevant experience (full-time equivalency) in counseling, criminal justice, juvenile justice, education, psychology, sociology, behavioral health, or social service.
OR
One year as a Juvenile Rehabilitation Officer 2 (JRO2), or Juvenile Rehabilitation Security Officer 1 (JRSO1).
AND
Note: Two years of college will substitute for one year of experience.
