This job involves leading IT integration projects for state health and victim services applications, from planning and building to testing and rollout, while supporting team members and assessing risks from changes like new laws.
It also includes helping shape the agency's long-term tech strategy and mentoring others on IT issues.

The Department of Technology, Management and Budget supports the business operations of state agencies through a variety of services, including building management and maintenance, information technology, centralized contracting and procurement, budget and financial management, space planning and leasing, construction management, motor vehicle fleet operations, and oversight of the state retirement systems.
This position is with the Agency Services area of DTMB.
As a Senior IT Integration Business Analyst, the employee performs a complete range of information system analyst assignments including, but not limited to, leading/coordinating integration initiatives for the MDHHS Desktop Applications and Crime Victims Services division through design, development, testing, and implementation. This individual will be looked upon to provide technical support to other team members/areas and evaluate new development tools and agency systems. Evaluate, document, and inform DTMB management and supported client agency of impact and risks, including disaster recovery planning, to existing IT solutions due to proposed legislation, enhancement requests, or changes in governmental processes or procedures. Actively participate in the development and implementation of assigned client agency’s IT strategic direction/plan. Mentors other DTMB staff to resolve client agency IT issues.IT bonus
This position may be eligible for a sign-on bonus up to $2,500. Up to $1,250 to be paid upon new hire and the remainder to be paid after satisfactory completion of the initial probationary period (12-month period). This does not apply to current state employees.
Position Location/Remote Office: The office location is Lansing, MI. The State of Michigan is not able to offer employment to out-of-state applicants that do not plan to relocate.
The Department of Technology Management and Budget currently offers a hybrid work option which requires two days working on-site at the official work location and three days of remote work per week.
