This job involves working as a senior analyst to ensure that Michigan's Medicaid systems meet federal, state, and industry security and compliance standards, including designing plans, implementing changes, and reporting on audits for systems like CHAMPS.
You'll support the health department's IT needs through the state's technology agency.

The Department of Technology, Management and Budget supports the business operations of state agencies through a variety of services, including building management and maintenance, information technology, centralized contracting and procurement, budget and financial management, space planning and leasing, construction management, motor vehicle fleet operations, and oversight of the state retirement systems.
This position is with the Agency Services area of DTMB.
This position will serve as a Senior IT Business Analyst on the Michigan Medicaid Information System Team within the Department of Technology, Management and Budget (DTMB) Agency Services supporting the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS). This position will be responsible for the audit and security compliance design, planning, implementation, and support for all DHHS Medicaid Systems and is responsible for the adherence to, compliance with, and reporting on, Federal, State, and industry requirements for the State of Michigan's Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS), known as Community Health Automated Medicaid Processing System (CHAMPS) and Maximus Eligibility Systems.DTMB does not participate in STEM-OPT.
This position may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $2,500. Up to $1,250 to be paid upon new hire and the remainder to be paid after satisfactory completion of the initial probationary period (12-month period). This does not apply to current state employees.
