Our mission here at Emerging Technologies & Innovation Division (ET & ID) is to promote the use of new technology, innovative solutions, and experience design practices across business product delivery teams.
At ET & ID you can work with business product delivery teams to deliver high quality/high value Artificial Intelligence/Emerging Technology (AI/ET) solutions in support of desired business outcomes.
You must meet the United States Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) qualification requirements (including specialized experience and/or educational requirements) for the advertised position.
You must meet all eligibility and qualifications requirements by the closing date of the job announcement.
OPM Qualifications Standards are available at Information Technology (IT) Management Series, 2210 (Alternative A).
Specialized Experience is experience that has equipped applicants with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled.
To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the federal service. For this position, the next lower grade level is a GS-13.
Specialized experience for this position includes: Experience developing and implementing full stack business IT applications using languages and tools such as Python, Java, SQL, Databricks, Apache Spark, JSON, or modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular).
AND Experience using Agile and DevSecOps methodologies to develop, test, and deploy complex IT products that incorporate AI models, automation, and data-driven capabilities.
AND Experience integrating AI and other Emerging Technology functionalities in business IT applications.
The applicant must possess the following Information Technology related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below: Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail.

The physical worksite for this position is located in Alexandria, Virginia.
Presence at the Alexandria, VA campus is required for this role, as it includes on site functions that must be performed in person.
This position is telework eligible per agency and business unit discretion/policy.
