Base salary range: $74,441 - $96,770

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves working as an IT specialist focused on cybersecurity, where you'll help fix computer security problems, update systems to stay secure, and design ways to protect Navy information systems from threats.

You will serve as an IT Specialist (Network) in the Cybersecurity Test and Evaluation division, Engineering department of NIWC ATLANTIC.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or (NO-04) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Working with others to resolve computer security incidents, integrating automated capabilities for updating operating systems, implementing confidentiality and authentication systems, applying security policies to meet security objectives, and implementing security designs and approaches to resolve vulnerabilities.
Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
