Entry salary: $62,107 | Full performance (GS-12): up to $96,770

This job involves leading the technical side of computer systems on Navy combat ships, ensuring their hardware and security features are installed, tested, and maintained properly to meet safety standards.
You'll support engineering projects for ship computing environments, manage system designs and deployments, and handle tasks like testing and scheduling.

You will serve as a IT SPECIALIST (INFOSEC) in the TOTAL SHIP COMPUTING SYSTEMS (D53) of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.
The Secretary of Defense has ordered a department-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the DoD hiring freeze.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector coordinating or managing the installation, testing, and maintenance of Total Ship Computing Environment (TSCE) hardware and Endpoint Security Solution (ESS) on Littoral Combat Ships (LCS) to verify systems availability, functionality and efficiency in accordance with cybersecurity requirements for combat ship systems.
Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
