DS-05: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the DS-04(GS-11/12) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Conduct risk and vulnerability assessments of planned and installed information systems to identify vulnerabilities, risks, and protection needs.

Promote awareness of security issues among management and ensuring sound security principles are reflected in organizations' visions and goals.

Conduct systems security evaluations, audits, and reviews.

DS-04: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the DS-03(GS-9/11) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Develop and implement programs to ensure that systems, network, and data users are aware of, understand, and adhere to systems security policies and procedures.

Complete network and systems design to ensure implementation of appropriate systems security policies. Assess security events to determine impact and implement corrective actions.

DS-03: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the DS-02(GS-5/8) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Assist in conducting systems security evaluations, audits, and reviews.

Assist in the development and implementation of programs to ensure that systems, network, and data users are aware of, understand, and adhere to systems security policies and procedures.

Assist with the assessment of security events to determine impact and implementing corrective actions.

Major Duties:

  • You will develop policies and procedures to ensure information systems reliability and accessibility and to prevent and defend against unauthorized access to systems, networks, and data.
  • You will develop systems security contingency plans and disaster recovery procedures.
  • You will assist in the coordination of any cybersecurity inspections, tests, and reviews are synchronized and coordinated with affected parties and organizations
