Full Job Description

You will serve as a IT SPECIALIST (CUSTSUPT) in the FLEET IT SUPPORT SERVICES of NIWC ATLANTIC.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or NO-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: This position requires a candidate with the ability to lead and motivate diverse technical teams in the planning and execution of complex projects.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in tracking project cost, schedule, risk, and performance. Assessing and analyzing business needs, staffing requirements, and budget realities.

Effectively communicating with sponsors, customers, and leadership. Adapting to external influences and formulating strategies to align with organizational goals.

A working knowledge of Program Acquisition Management processes and project management tools. The ability to articulate ideas convincingly and negotiate with internal and external groups.

• You will ensure attention to detail in managing service delivery, service level agreements, and cost negotiations, while maintaining a high level of quality assurance.
• You will provide exceptional customer service by addressing sponsor and user concerns regarding Navy Enterprise Service Desk operations.
• You will communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing, to coordinate with sponsors, team members, and stakeholders on various initiatives.
• You will apply problem-solving skills to resolve conflicts, manage capacity planning, and ensure the smooth transition of services.
• You will develop and maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures, and guidelines for effective service desk operations.
• You will support continuous process improvement by identifying opportunities for operational enhancements and participating in related activities.
• You will manage the successful onboarding of new work into the NESD, ensuring compliance with all technical and functional requirements.
