This job is for an IT specialist at a military library in Hawaii, where you'll help users with computer problems, fix hardware and software issues, and train people on how to use systems better.

This position is located at Schofield Barracks SGT. Yano Library, located on Schofield Barracks, Hawaii (island of Oahu).
The Schofield Library on Schofield Barracks, serves as a public library for the military communities of Schofield Barracks, Wheeler Army Air Field, Fort Shafter, HMR, and surrounding area.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Experience that provided a basic knowledge of data processing functions, system installation and general management principles that enabled the applicant to understand the stages required to automate a work process.
Experience may have been gained in work such as computer operator or assistant, computer sales representative, program analyst, or other positions that required the use or adaptation of computer programs and systems.
OR Completion of a two year degree with a major course of study in computer science, information science, information systems management, or course work that required the development or adaptation of computer programs and systems and provided knowledge equivalent to a major in the computer field.
Highly Qualification Criteria: Possess at least 2 years of experience as a customer service/help desk representative in an IT (information technology) setting.
