Base salary range: $74,441 - $96,770
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-11. Advanced degree + significant experience.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).

USAJOBS Help Center - How to supply work experience Specialized Experience for the GS-12: You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service.
Specialized experience for this position includes: Experience managing mobile devices, including setup, troubleshooting, and lifecycle support for Android and iOS/iPadOS smartphones and tablets; AND Experience creating and maintaining automation solutions using tools such as Microsoft Power Automate, workflows, low code/no code platforms, and scripting languages such as PowerShell or APIs; AND Skilled in using business intelligence tools that are used to design and maintain interactive, data driven reports and dashboards that combine information from multiple sources such as Power BI; AND Ability to manage projects of any size that involves coordinating and communicating with stakeholders to ensure successful delivery; AND Experience working with external vendors to troubleshoot technical issues and providing proactive communication on operational and service-related matters.
Time-in-Grade: In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the GS-12, you must have been at the GS-11 level for 52 weeks.
Time After Competitive Appointment: Candidates who are current Federal employees serving on a non-temporary competitive appointment must have served at least three months in that appointment.
In addition to specialized experience, individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below.

Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. Major Duties:
As a IT Specialist, you will: Provide expert level technical support (tier 3 or SME support) for troubleshooting and solving operational problems, with service lines, infrastructure and supporting applications.
May install, configure, and administer systems and services following IOD Standard Operating Procedures and Guidelines.
Provide leadership in promoting the use of best practices and new processes and procedures, such as system development lifecycle, change and release management, integration processes, and other best practices supporting project life cycle for strategy, design, implementation, operations, and decommissioning.
Demonstrate strong technical proficiency in one or more operating systems, or infrastructure platforms including but not limited to Windows, mobility technologies, data protection tools and techniques, Office 365 offerings, application diagnostic techniques, and general currency in key IT security and operational issues.
Meet regularly with stakeholders to coordinate the release of new technology to a wide customer base, ensuring key stakeholders are prepared to support the new features
