Full Job Description

York Technical College, a member of the South Carolina Technical and Comprehensive Education System, is a public, two-year institution of higher education that offers a variety of associate degrees, diplomas, and certificates. Through maximizing student success, the College seeks to contribute to the economic growth and development of York, Lancaster, and Chester counties and of the State.

The IT Services Specialist III performs the following functions:
•Works with service providers to include but not limited to: Comporium, Intrado, T-Mobile, Segra, and Tru-Vista, to provide support to hosted IP telephony service, cell phones, hot spots, panic buttons, and other network/communications devices/services in use at the college.
•Support for IT related product acquisitions and services, including cyber-insurance, software / hardware products, application services.
•Perform service monitoring via configuring and using tools such as SolarWinds, Office 365 monitoring, and monitoring included within both on premise and cloud based (SaaS) services to ensure a high degree of availability for customers.
•Remediation of issues discovered as a part of monitoring, either directly or in working with other YTC staff or service providers.
•Performs other duties as required.
