INVESTMENT MANAGER
WEST VIRGINIA JOBS INVESTMENT TRUST
KANAWHA COUNTY
SALARY: $70,000 - $90,000
Portfolio Management
- Work closely with the Executive Director and Investment Analyst to assess prospective investment opportunities and develop the agency portfolio.
- Make recommendations about financial and investment opportunities on behalf of WVJIT.
- Present investment opportunities and related analyses to the WVEDA/WVJIT Board of Directors.
- Manage existing portfolio, along with the Executive Director and Investment Analyst, to stay apprised of business updates and opportunities.
- Act as a board member on portfolio company boards on behalf of WVJIT.
Federal Program Management
- Assist the Executive Director with managing SSBCI and WVCAP.
- Assist in preparation of WVCAP applications and reports for SSBCI compliance.
- Assist in preparation of WVCAP closing documents for both debt and equity transactions to ensure SSBCI compliance.
- Manage the Technical Assistance program for compliance.
Oversee various reports and financial data for the Executive Director, Board of Directors, WVCAP Committee, and U.S. Treasury. Develop relationships with clients and expand client networks in professional settings. All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in finance or master’s degree in business administration, statistics, economics, and/or accounting.

Experience in a management role
Representation on board of directors or committees
