Base salary range: $62,107 - $80,737
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-10. Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 years graduate study.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves managing the storage, distribution, and tracking of ammunition and supplies for the Navy, ensuring everything is in the right place at the right time to support fleet operations.
You'll plan for future needs, check inventory accuracy, and work with specialized systems to keep data reliable.
It's a great fit for someone with hands-on experience in military logistics who is detail-oriented and comfortable with computers.
You will serve as a INVENTORY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the Ammunition Management Pacific (AMMOPAC), San Diego, CA or Ammunition Logistics Center (NALC) Ordnance Supply Chain Execution (SCE) Division, Norfolk, VA of NAVSUP AMMO LOG CENT MECH.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the 11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience with Shore based Ammunition storage and logistics. Experience with Shipboard Ammunition storage and logistics.
Experience with Ordnance Information Systems Retail and/or Wholesale Proficient in Microsoft Suite of applications especially MS Excel.
