Base salary range: $51,332 - $66,732

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves managing inventory for military supplies, especially ordnance and materials, by processing requests, tracking stock with computer systems, and ensuring everything is stored safely and on time.
It supports logistics operations at a naval detachment in California.
A good fit would be someone with experience in supply chain or warehouse management who is detail-oriented and comfortable using databases and following strict procedures.
You will serve as a INVENTORY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the AD&C LOGISTICS SUPPORT of NMC CWD DET SEAL BEACH.
For the GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing supply support using an ordnance inventory management database system and freight scheduling.
For the GS-07: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing reports and schedules for inventory management operations to support the receipt and storage of materials.
