This vacancy is will be used to fill multiple International Trade Compliance Analyst positions at the Department of Commerce, International Trade Administration, Enforcement and Compliance, in the Office of Antidumping/Countervailing Duty Operations.

To qualify at the GS-11 level you must possess one full year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-9 in the Federal service.

The specialized experience requirement is defined as follows: Analysis and/or application of US Antidumping/Countervailing Duties (AD/CVD) laws; Application of international financial and business concepts to US AD/CVD law; Preparing briefings, correspondence, reports, and/or memoranda related to U.S AD/CVD law; Conducting research, gathering evidence, performing analysis and presenting findings related to US AD/CVD law; and Performing calculations leading to the determination of U.S.

AD and/or CVD duties -OR Substitution of the education: A Ph.D.

or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related, may be substituted for specialized experience.

-OR A combination of education and experience.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and responsibility to the next lower grade level in the Federal Service.

Specialized experience is experience that has equipped the applicant with the particular competencies/knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position.

This experience need not have been in the federal government.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious; spiritual; community, student, social).

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies; knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.

As an International Trade Compliance Analyst, you will perform the following duties: Assist in the preparation of oral presentations which reflect issues raised by Stakeholders and Teams.

Assist in the analysis and evaluation of data; attend meetings, briefings and hearings; assist with data verification.

Enforce AD/CVD Laws through proceedings by performing analysis and research and implementing results.

Assist in the research and analysis of US AD/CVD International related regulations and make recommendations.
