Summary

This job involves leading engineering efforts to design, test, and integrate complex weapon systems using simulations and virtual environments for the U.S. Navy's strategic programs.

Key Requirements

  • You will establish and execute system level testing in support of Strategic Weapon System (SWS) early integration and virtual testing.
  • You will formulate a weapon system level test program in a model-based environment through which virtual SWS Integration/performance testing is accomplished.
  • You will develop, integrate, and implement solutions to diverse, highly complex problems across multiple areas and disciplines.
  • You will oversee the test program as it matures through the addition of Hardware in the Loop (HWIL) testing activities and early pre-production HWIL/Software in the Loop (SWIL) testing at the SWS level.
  • You will develop the SWS Simulation and Integration Lab from concept of operations/requirements through facility activation and the lifecycle operations.
