Full Job Description

You will serve as an Interdisciplinary Engineer in Various Departments of NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV KEYPORT WA.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: One year of experience involving underseas weapons.

Examples of qualifying experience include experience with non-conformance adjudication and solutions, and understanding of technical data packages and changes processes.

  • You will serve as a senior or lead engineer responsible for providing technical leadership and project management across a broad range of engineering efforts in support of in-service systems and technologies.
  • You will support the sustainment, modernization, and operational readiness of complex equipment and weapons systems through expert analysis, design modification, testing and problem resolution.
  • You will oversee teams of professionals and guide critical engineering activities and ensure technical accuracy and compliance with quality standards and timely execution of engineering solutions.
  • You will be responsible for project leadership and technically direct a small group of full performance professionals, junior professionals, and/or technical assistants.
  • You will perform a variety of mathematical or engineering analyses, computations, measurements, or evaluation on assigned individual problems or portions of larger problems or projects.
  • You will perform failure analysis studies to identify failure causes, collect data and devise solutions.
