Job Description

Summary

This job involves leading technical efforts in the Navy's Conventional Prompt Strike program, focusing on hypersonic weapons for submarines, including oversight of design, integration, testing, and deployment.

You'll manage engineering teams, coordinate interfaces, and innovate policies for weapon systems across air, sea, and land platforms.

It's a great fit for experienced engineers or scientists with a background in defense projects, especially those passionate about advanced military technology and program management.

Key Requirements

  • You will serve as either the Mission Planning, Submarine Platform Integration, or Submarine Weapon Control System Lead in the Conventional Prompt Strike (CPS) Program Office supporting Navy’s hypersonic capability.
  • You will provide expert, independent government oversight and technical authority for the design, development, integration, testing, and fleet introduction of CPS Weapon System.
  • You will provide multi-discipline direction and Engineering Management to the CPS Program in designated area of responsibility.
  • You will manage system engineering requirements and verification.
  • You will coordinate the cross-functional and external interface efforts.
  • You will analyze and assess new standards and methods to develop innovative policies and integrate into the administration and operation of air-based, sea-based and/or land-based platforms for Weapon System programs.
