Base salary range: $74,441 - $96,770

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves analyzing intelligence on drug trafficking, terrorism linked to narcotics, and international crime groups in the Pacific region, creating reports and briefings to help combat these threats.
You'll work with military and law enforcement teams to predict and share insights that support operations against illegal activities.
It's a good fit for someone with experience in intelligence analysis who enjoys working in a team environment on high-stakes security issues.
You will serve as a GG-0132-13 Intelligence Specialist at Camp HM Smith, HI, for the Joint Interagency Task Force West (JIATF West).
As a counter-narcotics intelligence analyst, you will be responsible for complex, all-source, predictive analysis, production, and dissemination of counter-drug, narco-terrorism, and transnational criminal organization intelligence within the U.S.
Pacific Command area of responsibility.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade level (GG/GS-12) or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector, such as: 1.
Produce periodic evaluations, briefs, and other intelligence assessments on counterdrug-related topics. 2.
Provide advice, recommendations, analysis, and guidance on the production of all-source intelligence. 3.
Provide highly complex analysis, production, and dissemination of current, operational, and strategic intelligence.
