Base salary range: $62,107 - $80,737
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-10. Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 years graduate study.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves working as a targeting analyst in the U.S. Navy's intelligence team, where you'll analyze information to identify and develop targets for military exercises, planning, and operations.
You'll create detailed reports, ensure the quality of materials, and help improve team processes to support naval missions in Europe and Africa.

Serves as a Targeting Analyst within the N24 Targets Division in the Intelligence Directorate (N2) of U.S. Naval Forces Europe / U.S. Naval Forces Africa - U.S.
SIXTH Fleet (NAVEUR/NAVAF-SIXTH FLT), In this position you will perform full spectrum analytic support for all target development activities in support of exercises, planning, and operations.
This position is located in the COMUSNAVEUR-COMSIXTHFLEET SEA.
I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GG/GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as; 1).
Ability to perform quality control of targeting material to improve operating procedures; 2).
Utilize intelligence capabilities to develop TargetSystem Analysis (TSA) products and electronic target folders; 3).
Perform weaponeering, precision point mensuration (PPM), and Collateral Damage Estimates (CDE); and 4). Represent targeting equities for the division in the command's cross-functional teams.
