About the opportunity:
This position is part of the Computing Services Division (CSD), which manages and provides strategic direction and leadership for information technology services to public organizations. This position reports to the Integration Services Manager.
This position serves as the highest-level technical subject matter expert providing system administration and Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) services for mission-critical enterprise integration platforms.
In this role you will use their expertise to support the current Microsoft BizTalk implementation and successor integration technologies in support of the Justice Information Network Data Exchange (JINDEX) application and other statewide integration services.
This position is responsible for maintenance and operations of JINDEX to ensure electronic traffic citations and collision tickets are exchanged with eTrip partner agencies (Washington State Patrol (WSP), Department of Transportation (DOT), Department of Licensing (DOL), and Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC)) and back to the local law enforcement agency (LEA) that created the ticket.
This role will play a key part in stabilizing and operating legacy integration platforms while contributing to the transition toward modern enterprise integration solutions.

Here’s what we’re looking for:
Nine years of hands-on experience in administrating, troubleshooting, analyzing, designing, programming or integrating (EAI) computer systems or databases in support of a client/server Windows environment.
This experience must include the following: Three years of experience working with and managing enterprise integration platforms (e.g., Microsoft BizTalk or equivalent integration technologies), including web services (WSDL/SOAP), messaging, and system-to-system integrations.
* Formal education in information technology or related field may be substituted for experience on a year-for-year basis for up to six years.
Demonstrated ability troubleshooting system and network integrations, applications, databases, web servers and other complex systems.
