Full Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Instructional Design Intern to support the development of engaging online learning experiences for employees across our organization.

This internship provides hands-on experience designing and building eLearning modules, collaborating with subject matter experts, and translating technical information into clear, learner-friendly content.


This is an excellent opportunity for students interested in instructional design, learning and development, adult education, or educational technology to apply classroom knowledge in a real-world setting.


The ability to communicate verbally and in writing is a must with experience in instructional design. The ideal candidate will be able to:

  • Assist in the design and development of online training modules
  • Collaborate with instructional designers and subject matter experts to gather and organize content
  • Translate technical or complex information into clear, engaging learning experiences for non-technical audiences
  • Apply instructional design principles and adult learning best practices to course development
  • Create interactive learning elements such as knowledge checks, scenarios, and multimedia components
  • Review and revise course content for clarity, consistency, accessibility, and quality
  • Support updates and improvements to existing training materials
Participate in project meetings and contribute creative ideas to enhance learner engagement

Qualifications

•Currently pursuing a degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Learning & Development, Education, Communications, or a related field
•Familiarity with eLearning concepts or instructional design models (ADDIE, backward design, etc.)
•Interest in online learning development and digital training tools
•Experience with Articulate Rise 360 or similar eLearning tools is preferred but not required
