This job involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting mainframe operating systems and software for a vehicle registration office in Germany, supporting both production and testing environments.
It also includes programming to automate tasks and ensuring IT security compliance.

One year specialized system software installation programming experience sufficient to demonstrate knowledge and skill in: - Installation and maintenance of VM and VSE operating system software.
- Computer center processes, operation and generally accepted business practices in a multi-platform system architecture environment. - IBM system zSeries compatible equipment and software systems.
- Installing and configuring system software with multiple virtual machines for production and application testing. - Software testing and problem solving techniques - IT Security systems.
- Verbal and written communication skills. 2.
In addition, must possess expert knowledge of installation and maintenance of all or the majority of the following areas: VM, VSE, CICS, TCP/IP, VTAM, Power, JCL, COBOL, REXX and Assembler language.
