In this position, you will perform network administration on Windows operating systems within the center's client server environment.
Your work will involve installation, applying upgrade patches, and monitoring system performance.
You will identify and resolve network hardware and software problems, respond to requests for assistance, and place service calls to vendors.
Assistance requests may consist of access to applications, personal computer support, kiosk support, resolve printer and other hardware and software problems.
Some of your duties will also include maintaining hardware and software inventories, up-channeling issues for further resolution when necessary, and evaluating products and applications associated with departmental administrative applications.
Additionally, you will make recommendations on software and hardware purchases, systems integration and installation, and the use of hardware and software.
