Base salary range: $62,107 - $80,737
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-10. Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 years graduate study.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves managing and organizing information for a U.S. Marine Corps air station in Japan, including developing tools and strategies to share critical data efficiently across the team.
It requires overseeing systems, planning for operations, and training staff on information handling.
A good fit would be someone with experience in information technology or management, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work in a military environment overseas.
You will serve as a INFORMATION MANAGEMENT OFFICER in the S-6 DEPARTMENT, MARINE CORPS AIR STATION IWAKUNI, JAPAN ofMARINE CORPS AIR STATION IWAKUNI.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing technical expertise, management oversight, and analytical skill to identify station Knowledge Management requirements, and develop strategies, programs, business processes, development of automated tools and databases to optimize storage and distribution of mission-essential information throughout an organization.
