Full Job Description

This position serves as part of the leadership team and is responsible for managing the research, triage, and timely production of business and security-related products, and managing workload and quality of products for team members.

You must have specialized experience sufficient to demonstrate that you have acquired all the competencies necessary to perform at a level equivalent in difficulty, responsibility, and complexity to the next lower grade GS/GG-12) in the Federal service and are prepared to take on greater responsibility.

Generally, this would include one year or more of such specialized experience.

Specialized experience for this position includes: Applying advanced knowledge across multiple security disciplines, such as, personnel, industrial, physical, and information security, to analyze and resolve complex security issues.

Utilizing knowledge of intelligence and counterintelligence programs to independently identify, analyze, and report on threat indicators and their direct impact on personnel and corporate entities.

Effectively employing a wide range of agency processes, systems, and tools to conduct vetting and develop mitigation strategies for companies.

Analyzing complex and multi-layered corporate structures, including their governance, ownership, and financial documentation, to identify and assess significant vulnerabilities related to foreign influence and financial stability.

Independently managing and completing a caseload of recurring, complex evaluations Risk Indicator Reports (RIRs), applying security, business, and intelligence expertise to inform agency and customers of critical national security vulnerabilities, including reviewing the work of others.

Gathering complex security and business findings into clear and persuasive written products and oral briefings to advise senior-level government and industry leaders and justify assessment outcomes.

Specifically you will be evaluated on the following competencies: 1.

Vulnerabilities Assessment and Management- Conduct assessments on threats and vulnerabilities, determine the level of risk, and develop and recommend appropriate mitigation countermeasures in operational and non-operational situations.

Conduct assessments in a counterintelligence context to protect against espionage, other intelligence activities, and sabotage conducted for or on behalf of foreign powers, organizations or persons, or international terrorist activities 2.

Accountability- Holds self and others accountable for measurable high-quality, timely, and cost-effective results. Determines objectives, sets priorities, and delegates work.

Accepts responsibility for mistakes. Complies with established control systems and rules 3.

As a INDUSTRIAL SECURITY SPECIALIST (SENIOR ENTITY TRIAGE TEAM LEAD) you will be responsible for the following duties: Oversee, review, edit, approve, and prepare routine and non-routine, highly complex contractor-drafted Risk Indicator Reports (RIRs), ensuring all products meet prescribed quality standards and adhere to IC analytic and internal style guides.

Provides expert technical direction, coaching, and mentoring to less experienced team leads, government staff, and contractor personnel on advanced research processes and analytical procedures.

Prepares non-routine, highly complex RIRs on sensitive cases, ensuring the final product adheres to the highest unit quality and IC analytic standards.

Identifies systemic areas for improvement, independently determines and develops courses of action, and implements solutions to enhance workflows, revise products, and update internal guidance.

Manage team workload through strategic task prioritization and coordination, and monitor contractor compliance, providing performance input and reporting any concerns to supervisors and the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR).Independently respond to information requests, and conduct in-depth studies and metrics analysis to inform leadership decisions and updates to policy and procedures.

Prepares and delivers authoritative briefings and training to internal and external senior customers and independently responds to complex requests for information on behalf of the unit.
