Specialized experience for this position includes: Assisted in the analysis of corporate structures by reviewing governance documents and ownership records to identify basic security and business vulnerabilities.
Applied foundational knowledge of intelligence and counterintelligence programs to help identify potential threat indicators impacting personnel and companies under supervision.
Contributed to security assessments by applying principles from United States Government (USG) security disciplines, such as personnel and industrial security, to complete assigned tasks.
Supported the analysis of various company types, including their corporate governance, ownership, and control, to uncover ultimate beneficial ownership and potential Foreign Ownership, Control, or Influence (FOCI) vulnerabilities.
Supported the completion of recurring, low-complexity assignments that involve reviewing, editing, and approving analytical reports (such as Risk Indicator Reports) to inform the awarding of contracts.
Drafted clear and concise written summaries and reports on factual business and security information for review by senior team members.
Interfaced with internal and external customers to provide status updates and gather required information for ongoing cases under direct supervision.
Documented and reported business and security vulnerabilities in entities for further review and action by senior personnel. Or Ph.D.

Government security disciplines, such as personnel, industrial, physical, and information security, to resolve security-related issues.
Utilized knowledge of intelligence and counterintelligence programs to identify potential threat indicators impacting personnel and companies in support of case assignments.
Executed vetting and mitigation actions on companies contracted to the U.S. Government using established agency processes, systems, tools, and procedures.
Conducted analysis of various company types, including their corporate governance, ownership, and control, to uncover ultimate beneficial ownership and potential Foreign Ownership, Control, or Influence (FOCI) vulnerabilities.
Experience managing and ensuring the quality of analytical products, such as Risk Indicator Reports (RIRs), by reviewing and approving the work of other analysts, ensuring accuracy and compliance before informing high-stakes contracting decisions.
Gathered complex business and security issues into clear and comprehensible written products and oral briefings for government and industry stakeholders.
Served as a point of contact for internal and external customers to communicate mission requirements and provide status updates on current actions.
Authored detailed reports that informed leadership and adjudicative authorities of identified business and security vulnerabilities within entities seeking access to classified or sensitive information.

As a INDUSTRIAL SECURITY SPECIALIST (ENTITY TRIAGE TEAM LEAD) you will be responsible for the following duties: GG-11 Reviews, edits, and approves contractor-drafted Risk Indicator Reports (RIRs) of low complexity, ensuring each product meets prescribed quality standards, IC analytic standards, and internal style guides prior to dissemination.
Provide technical direction and feedback to government, contractor, and other staff regarding business and security research, analytical techniques, and associated procedures.
Manages team workload by assigning tasks, setting appropriate suspense dates based on case prioritization, monitoring completion status, and coordinating the reassignment of complex tasks with senior team leads.
Monitors contractor compliance with contract stipulations and tracks team and individual metrics against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), providing regular performance input to the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) and supervisors.
Identifies and recommends areas for operational improvement, including workflow enhancements, product format revisions, additional training needs, and updates to internal guidance.
Responds to requests for information from internal and external government customers and participates in meetings on matters related to the entity triage mission under the guidance of senior staff.
GG12 Reviews, edits, and approves contractor-drafted Risk Indicator Reports (RIRs) of moderate complexity, ensuring each product meets prescribed quality standards and adheres to IC analytic standards before dissemination.
Independently prepares routine, moderately complex RIRs, ensuring all products adhere to applicable unit quality standards and IC analytic trade-craft.
Provides technical direction, coaching, training, and mentoring to contractor staff and less experienced team leads to enhance research processes, analytical skills, and product quality.
Independently manages team workload by prioritizing cases, assigning suspense dates, monitoring completion status, and realigning work to meet customer requirements and complexity thresholds.
Identifies and proposes courses of action for leadership's consideration regarding process improvements, including workflow enhancements, product revisions, and updates to internal guidance.
Monitors contractor compliance with contract stipulations and tracks team and individual metrics against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), providing performance data and reports to the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) and supervisors.
Respond to requests for information and represent the mission by participating in and briefing at conferences and meetings with internal customers under the guidance of senior staff.
