The Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (DMVA) is seeking a dedicated HVAC Refrigeration Technician to join our Division of Installation Maintenance crew.

In this position, you will be responsible for performing mechanical repairs and routine preventive maintenance on a wide range of HVAC systems, with a primary focus on gas-fired units and appliances.
You will support the installation of liquid petroleum and natural gas equipment, including the installation of new units and component parts, as well as the adjustment and repair of various HVAC systems.
The role requires diagnosing and troubleshooting complex equipment issues, conducting performance testing, and ensuring all systems operate efficiently and reliably.
You will also prepare material lists for assigned projects, maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used, and return unused equipment and supplies to inventory.
All duties are carried out in strict compliance with DMVA general safety standards and position-specific safety regulations.
