The Department of Human Services is looking for a dedicated Human Services Program Executive 2 to join our Bureau of State Operated Facilities team.
In this pivotal role, you will serve as the dual diagnosis lead for the state centers, oversee the Therapeutic Recovery Team, and act as a key liaison with the Office of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services.
This role requires strong leadership and management expertise, as well as a dedication to guiding a mobile, interdisciplinary consultative team to ensure exceptional services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and dual-diagnosis mental health needs across state centers and other locations throughout Pennsylvania.

In this position, you will oversee clinical and professional staff who provide services to individuals living in the state centers.
You will ensure thorough clinical assessments are completed for new admissions and lead the coordination and planning of services related to admissions, behavioral consultations, and discharges.
Responsibilities include directing and delivering training requested by state centers, as well as responding to training needs identified by other organizations.
You will work closely with state and private service providers while supervising a mobile team of clinical and professional staff.
Additionally, as a member of the Bureau of State Operated Facilities leadership team, you will contribute to the development of policies, initiatives, and strategic goals.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
This position requires frequent overnight travel throughout the Commonwealth. (multiple occurrences per month)
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 3 days per week.
In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
