Summary continued: As an HR Specialist (Recruitment and Placement), GS-0201-12, you will be a talent acquisition expert who manages the full recruitment lifecycle, from defining talent needs and strategizing recruitment approaches to onboarding selectees under delegated examining and merit promotion programs.
You will also offer comprehensive staffing, placement, pay-setting, and personnel-action processing across CMS' GS workforce.

In order to qualify for the GS-12, you must meet the following: You must demonstrate in your resume at least one year (52 weeks) of qualifying specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal government, obtained in either the private or public sector, to include: (1) Prepare vacancy/job opportunity announcements utilizing an automated system (e.g.
USA Staffing, Quick-hire, Monster); (2) Determine applicant eligibility and qualifications; AND (3) Research Federal human resources guidance and regulations to perform recruitment and placement functions or to resolve a variety of HR issues.
CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT: Delegated Examining (DE) certification is required for this position.
You will need to annotate on your resume the date of your DE certification AND the expiration date, OR attach a copy of your DE certificate showing the date of certification and expiration date.
