Base salary range: $62,107 - $80,737
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-10. Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 years graduate study.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves advising on hiring and staffing for civilian positions overseas, especially in Naples, Italy, including strategies for recruiting U.S.
and local workers, handling pay incentives, and managing employee benefits like allowances.
It also includes guiding managers on workforce planning, preparing reports to solve HR issues, and keeping in regular contact with teams to update them on HR processes.
A good fit would be someone with experience in federal HR rules, strong advisory skills, and comfort working in an international setting.
You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (RECRUITMENT & PLACEMENT/COMP) in the Office of Civilian Human Resources, Overseas Program Center, Satellite Office, Naples, Italy.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Interpreting and applying federal civilian human resources (HR) laws, regulations, and policies to deliver HR services in one or more functional areas, including staffing and recruitment, position classification, and compensation; ensuring regulatory compliance; and developing, interpreting, and providing authoritative guidance on HR policies and program administration.
