Under supervision by the Classification and Compensation Manager, performs duties related to maintaining and processing personnel records and transactions under various program areas for South Carolina Department of Education.
Responsible for administering personnel data processing and assisting with recruitment and employment activities.
Following appropriate State Division of Human Resources and/or South Carolina Department of Education (SCDE) policies and procedures, receive, process, and enter SCDE personnel actions into the South Carolina Enterprise Information System (SCEIS).
Ensure requested actions include all pertinent documents and signatures prior to processing and complete processing accurately and timely. File documentation within specified time.
Assist with special office projects and agency programs. Serve as a contact/liaison to communicate office procedures and information to staff.
A bachelor’s degree and relevant experience.
