This job is for a human resources assistant at a US Army base in Germany, helping with hiring new employees by managing job postings, screening candidates, and getting them ready to start work.
It starts at a beginner level but can grow into more advanced tasks with experience.
It's a good fit for someone organized with basic office skills and an interest in HR support roles in a military setting.
This position is located at the Non-appropriated Fund Personnel (NAF) Office, Grafenwoehr, Germany . Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Resumes must be two pages (or less).
Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position.
A qualified candidate must possess the following: NF-02 (Developmental) - Possess six (6) months of progressively responsible clerical/administrative experience, which demonstrates the ability to accomplish various human resources tasks and utilize human resource information systems.
The experience and ability listed above must be reflected on your resume to be considered eligible for this position. NF-03 1.
Possess six (6) months of work experience in a human resources profession which demonstrates the capability to perform a variety of recruitment and staffing, 2.
Possess experience utilizing an automated recruitment and staffing system (i.e. USA Staffing, Avue, Resumix, PeopleSoft, etc.) 3.
Possess prior experience using Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) 4. Ability to work with a variety of human resources information systems.

In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": Prior work experience in a NAF Human Resources Office in a recruitment and placement capacity.
