Base salary range: $33,878 - $44,042

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves supporting military human resources by managing personnel files, fixing data errors in service records, and helping resolve staffing shortages in the Navy.
It suits someone with experience in administrative work, attention to detail, and familiarity with policies, especially those who have handled records or reports in a team setting.

You will serve as a Human Resources Assistant (Military) in the Enlisted Distrabution Division of NAVY PERSONNEL COMMAND.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of speclalized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Interpretting established policies and procedures to resolve manning issues, 2) Managing assigned activity personnel files to ensure policies are followed, 3) Correcting data errors pertaining to expired gains and losses, erroneous or blank Projected Rotation Dates (PRD), and expired Expiration of Active Obligated Service (EAOS), and 4) Presenting briefs to various organizations when required.
