This job involves supporting human resources tasks for the Naval Reserve Officers' Training Corps at the University of Colorado, such as processing student records, preparing commissioning documents, and training staff on policies.
It requires handling administrative details under time pressure in a military education setting.
A good fit would be someone with experience in office administration, strong organizational skills, and the ability to communicate clearly on sensitive topics.
You will serve as a Human Resources Assistant (MIL) in the Naval Reserve Officers' Training Corps (NROTC) of UNIV OF COLORADO.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applying extensive personnel rules, regulations, and procedures within time constraints to process student records; 2) Researching, analyzing, and organizing information for processing technically difficult records; 3) Elaborating on detailed information in a clear and concise manner to coordinate action in various topics and sensitive subjects; and 4) Developing and presenting training in multiple topics for both formal and on-the-spot meetings with staff regarding policies, procedures, laws, and various other governing factors related to staff entitlements.
