recruiting for Long-Term Non-Perm Human Resources Technician 2

in Juneau and Anchorage, Alaska

What You Will Be Doing: This position will work daily to build the tools and libraries that the Talent Acquisition (TA) Unit will utilize to identify and evaluate candidate sourcing methods.

Resources that this position will be creating for the TA unit will be developing standardized interview questions and working with supervisors and HR Consultants on standardizing job postings across the department to streamline the recruitment process.

Participates in meetings to evaluate innovative and proactive recruitment strategies for positions/job classes where recruitment difficulties exist.

Familiarity with Microsoft Office products to help build Word and Excel documents is preferred.

The position will be responsible for ensuring that this project is completed within the set time frame.

Requirements

Six months of entry technical level experience in human resource work equivalent to a Human Resource Technician 1 with the State of Alaska or the equivalent elsewhere.

Substitution:

Graduation from high school or the equivalent and one year of advanced clerical experience.

Substitution:

One year of postsecondary education (32 semester hours or 48 quarter hours from an accredited college or university equals one year) in any field.
