THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.
This National Guard position is for a HR SPEC (MILITARY), Position Description Number D1176000 and is part of the CO ARNG Training Site, National Guard.
The purpose of this position is to oversee and ensure the accomplishment of work performed in the areas of personnel management, administration, and public relations.
The incumbent of this position works under the direction of the Officer in Charge (OIC) or Commander. Military Grades: E-4 thru E-6 1.
Specialized experience will be used to determine qualifications for the announced position. 2. An applicant's RESUME must provide, in detail, how they meet each specialized experience listed below.

You will be immediately disqualified if you fail to include specialized experience in your resume. Must have at least 12 months of Specialized Experience in each of the following: 1.
Experience working with a wide range of military HR management concepts, military regulations, policies, and procedures sufficient to provide comprehensive guidance to the command and staff within the battalion and subordinate units.
2.
Experience working with personnel authorizations, unit manning documents, duty assignment requirements and criteria sufficient to submit recommended improvements or corrections for the purpose of enhancing personnel readiness.
3. Experience with organizational missions and capabilities sufficient to perform presentations and briefings to community or military representatives and organizations. 4.
Experience communicating through oral and written means sufficient to present ideas and information utilizing presentations, briefings, and correspondence. Major Duties:
Develops, implements and evaluates the administration and personnel policies for the organization.
Reviews legal documentation and provides recommendations for appropriate actions and/or forwarding to higher headquarters.
Coordinates and assists in developing plans for recruiting and retention within the command.
Plans, organizes and assigns work to employees engaged in administrative and personnel work assigned at the command level.
May be required to represent the National Guard and the Unit Commander in the community. Performs other duties as assigned.
