Summary
This job involves leading a team of workers to maintain and repair highways, including tasks like digging ditches, paving roads, and setting up traffic controls to keep everyone safe.

Key Requirements
- 3.5 years of related work experience in highway maintenance or equivalent
- Valid motor vehicle operator’s license upon hire
- Obtain Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) within 6 months
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks like bending, climbing, and walking on rough terrain
- Supervisory skills for managing crews, including evaluations and disciplinary recommendations
- Knowledge of traffic control setup per SCDOT Work Zone Traffic Control Manual
- Availability for overtime, extended shifts, and emergency work in inclement weather
