Within the role of Higher Education Associate 2 (Teacher Education) you will manage reviews of new, existing, and expanding certification preparation programs.
Work includes producing and revising education certification preparation program framework guidelines and participating in making improvements to on-line program review tools.
You will have the opportunity to represent the Bureau of School Leadership and Teacher Quality at external meetings and conferences.
This professional acts as a liaison with certification licensure testing companies and manages and writes grant proposals.
You can expect to produce studies on education certification preparation programs and related activities in the Commonwealth.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, in office Tuesday each week.
In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
