Full Job Description

Responsible for the operation of a large supply storeroom and a group of small storerooms, storage yards and warehouses; supervises a large group of employees engaged in stores activities; and performs related work as required

Requirements


  1. Supervises workers engaged in receiving, checking, unpacking, storing and issuing a large and diversi?ed quantity of materials and supplies.
  2. Run Inventory reorder report, daily in automated computer system.
  3. Create purchase orders in Asset Works.
  4. Prepares purchase requisitions in Oracle.
  5. Request pricing and expected delivery date for priority parts for down coaches and Inventory Re-order report.
  6. Utilizes automated stores support systems (M5-Assetworks) and Microsoft Suite software, proficiently.
  7. Assigns sta? to speci?c jobs.
  8. Performs periodic review of records and materials on hand to monitor operations, including priority parts reports.
  9. Makes decisions on priority or unusual problems and advises subordinates.
  10. Assists in determining minimum stock levels by presenting records of stock consumption, and make necessary adjustments, as needed.
  11. Inspects unused supplies, scrap, and reclaimed or obsolete materials and determines the appropriate disposition.
  12. Authorizes the rejection of shipments which are below acceptable standards.
  13. Utilizes automated stores support systems (M5-Assetworks) and Microsoft Suite software, proficiently.
  14. Designs or rearranges storage and stores facilities.

Qualifications

Graduation from high school or G.E.D.

Four (4) years of experience in the responsible direction of the activities of a large supply storeroom, storage yard, or warehouse.
