The Head of Unincorporated Services will oversee coordination with Board offices, residents, service providers, and partner agencies; guide policies and strategies for unincorporated communities; manage dedicated homelessness funding; and support public-facing reporting and equity-focused outcomes.


The Los Angeles County Department of Homeless Services & Housing is seeking an experienced, strategic, and equity-driven leader to serve as Head, Office of Unincorporated Services and Strategies. This executive role leads homelessness prevention and response efforts in the County’s unincorporated communities, advancing Board-directed priorities to strengthen coordination, accountability, and service delivery.

The Head of the Office of Unincorporated Services and Strategies directs strategy, funding alignment, stakeholder engagement, and performance-driven implementation in partnership with Board offices, County departments, service providers, and community stakeholders.

The position also oversees community needs assessment, policy and program development, data and reporting strategy, public-facing resources, and equity-focused efforts to improve outcomes for disproportionately impacted communities.
