Full Job Description

Responsible for tracking and reviewing FEMA Public Assistance Grant. Uses excellent decision-making skills to manage activities associated with one or more special projects and prioritize assigned work. Maintains oversight on project status with clients and assists with reimbursements, documentation, and interpretation of information. Reviews documentation to ensure it is in accordance with federal program regulations, laws, policies, and timelines. Gathers data, analyzes facts, and makes accurate decisions or recommendations. Works independently to review spreadsheets containing financial data, provides a written summary, and effectively communicates to supervisor and clients regarding irregularities or missing documentation. Exercises judgment in identifying and elevating issues and presents information clearly in written or oral form. Prepares updates for leadership regarding progress on projects and provides recommendations on issues that require action or attention.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required. Experience in business, grants, or public administration preferred.

Qualifications

S.C. Certified Emergency Manager credential preferred or will seek to acquire within three years.

Additional Information

Ability to navigate online systems and processes including databases. Should be proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Excel.

Must be able to perform a variety of functions while maintaining effective organization of duties.
