Job Description
Summary
This job involves leading inmate crews in building and renovating facilities for the South Carolina Department of Corrections, including tasks like reading blueprints, erecting metal structures, and pouring concrete.

Full Job Description
- Responsible for construction and renovation of existing and new SCDC Facilities.
- Must have an extensive working knowledge of principles and techniques of building codes and be able to read blueprints.
- Responsible for the supervision of an inmate work crew.
- Knowledge of metal building erection and forming and pouring concrete.
- Position may require overtime and participation in on-call rotation.
Must successfully complete four (4) weeks of SCDC Basic Training upon hire.
