Summary

Full Job Description
- Develop general maintenance and repair program throughout the facility.
- Provide assistance in the carpentry, masonry, drywall, painting, welding fabrication, maintenance and repair program.
- Supervise and complete general maintenance, construction and renovation projects for facility.
- Establish on-call procedures to respond to emergency general maintenance and repair calls and assure work is promptly and properly performed.
- Determine requirement for general maintenance and repair supplies and equipment.
- Prepare justification and requisitions for all supplies and equipment.
Must successfully complete four (4) weeks of SCDC Basic Training upon hire.

High school diploma and trades experience related to the area of employment. Relevant experience may be substituted for the required diploma on a year-for-year basis for basis.
SCDC Minimum Requirements:
A high school diploma and 5 years' professional experience in institutional general maintenance construction and repair.
