Requirements
Perform a variety of semi-skilled manual work tasks involved in road, building, and other maintenance projects, or refuse collection work involving continuous heavy physical labor as a major work assignment; and perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
To qualify, you must meet all of the following requirements:
LEGAL AUTHORIZATION TO WORK:The State of Hawaii requires all persons seeking employment with the government of the State shall be citizens, nationals, or permanent resident aliens of the United States, or eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment in the United States.
Experience and Training: ONE YEAR of manual unskilled and/or semi-skilled work experience
in general construction and/or maintenance; or any equivalent combination of experience and training.
Driver's License: You must possess a valid driver's license at the time of appointment.
Special Requirement: The immediate vacancy with the University of Hawaii, Kauai Community College, requires a Forklift Certification within 6 months from the date of hire.The information provided above represents a summary of the
