This recruitment will be used to establish a list of qualified applicants which may be used to fill current and future vacancies as they occur for the Oahu District Office, Highways - Department of Transportation (DOT), State of Hawaii.

Requirements

Performs manual work tasks and operates a 6-man crew cab as a major assignment in the roadside maintenance, landscaping and highway facilities repairs.

Qualifications

To qualify, you must meet all of the following requirements:

LEGAL AUTHORIZATION TO WORK: The State of Hawaii Requires all persons seeking employment with the government of the State shall be citizens, nationals, or permanent resident aliens of the United States, or eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment in the United States.

No training and experience required

Driver's License Requirement: All positions require the possession of a valid driver's license, at the time of appointment.

Physical Ability: Some positions may require lifting and carrying objects of varying weights without assistance or with the assistance of another person and/or the use of equipment (e.g., shrubs, tree stumps, hand truck, dollies, etc.) for heavier loads, with or without reasonable accommodation.
