Base salary range: $88,520 - $115,079

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves leading engineering efforts to maintain and improve submarine systems throughout their operational life, including overseeing testing, monitoring performance, and resolving technical problems.
A good fit would be an experienced engineer who enjoys managing complex projects in a team setting and has a background in designing or sustaining military or large-scale technical systems.

You will serve as a General Engineer in the In-Service Submarine Systems Engineering Division of NAVSEA HQ FIELD SUPPORT.
Your resume must demonstrate one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level/pay band NH-03 (GS-13) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector aa a professional engineer in design, testing, integration, manufacturing, operation or maintenance to manage system test and evaluation methods, or life cycle maintenance for submarines.
